-AI electricity consumption test 2022. Similar to the Turing test. The AI electricity consumption test is intended to rule out whether or not machine has become conscious, or perhaps to confirm it. It is not a logical test, but rather suggests physical observation of the computer's operation.
The AI electricity consumption test consists of loading the AI program onto the computer (without weights), or without the training process having taken place, and then measuring its electrical consumption so that it does not perform any tasks and is idle. Then we carry out the training process or upload the weights, so that artificial intelligence is created, the neural network has knowledge. We do not give the computer any tasks, and we measure its idle electrical consumption again. The electrical consumption shows whether or not the computer is operating its logic circuits and the neural network. If the machine becomes self-aware, it thinks for itself, its idle consumption increases because it is not idle, and this can be detected by measuring electrical consumption. Of course, other physical observations are also possible.
